TWO CHILDREN DROWNED AT RUSSELL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, .Tan. 4. Trevor Hurst, aged six, and Waitai Rcwha, aged four, were playing on a launch alongside the Russell wharf. All hour later the dead bodies of both were found floating in the harbor. KICKED BY A HORSE. ' Timaru, Jan. 4. Jahcs McMurcliie, aged 5!), was found dead in a water-rage on a: road at Arowhenua. He was travelling with a stallion, and had a bruise on the head, so it is surmised he was kicked.
