STRATFORD ANNUAL MEETING, I A RECORD GATHERING. >' Tne Stratford Racing Club's annual meeting was brought to close yesterday in splendid weather. The attendance was again large, and racing very interesting. The field closed up before turning for home, and Dingle, Waioture, White Blaze, and Iceberg were almost abreast a- they straightened up for the run home. Iceberg then asserted himself, and won by a couple of lengths from Syntax, who had to come round the field. Dingle was two lengths away, third, and then came Waioture, White Blaze, flnd Prince Paul. Kauri King drew up to Simple Sam at the end of a .couple of furlongs, and the pair set a merry pace. Kauri King shiv>k his opponent ofi' before .-caching the turn, and Claude Brown kept him goim at top. Astoi and Tree Lucerne came fast in the straight, and a magnificent race home saw Kauri... King win by a bare neck from Astor, 'with Tree Lucerne a similar distance away, third, and Simple Sum next. Tirana finished "ab solutely." Time, 1.14 1-5.
