A now scheme for currying on the work of the Red Cross Market is being planned, whereby she work of providing and running the market each week will he more evenly distributed and be less of a tax upon the few volunteers who began it, and who have for the last liftcen months devoted every Saturday to it Next Saturday, the Oth, the Mayoress has kindly, and at very short notice, consented to run it, with the help of the Women's Patriotic Committee, in aid of the lied Cross funds, and we trust that now, as in the past, our people will show their practical sympathy by sending gifts of flowers, fruit, vegetables, and provisions for sale, and bv spending what they can to help our cause.
