HUGE LOSSES ON THE ANCRE. Rome, November 23. A report from Zurich states that the enormous losses on the Ancre are depressing Germany, but that llindenburg is unwilling to reinforce the Western line, from Roumania, as a suspension of the offensive there would, in his opinion, be more serious than a debacle in France. The capture of Bucharest would more than compensate for the loss of a little territory on the Western front. The Roumanian Press comments on the blackguardism of Germany in pitting William Hohenzollern against liis brother Ferdinand.
