Advices from Athens, via Eyra, state thut the unruly military cliques will have their wings clipped only in -he event,of the Entente powers insisting on complete compliance w ( ith the:r recent demands. Before the presentations of the second note it was pointed out that if Greek troops remained in Thosr.aly and Epirus they would be better able to resist any new demands
FURTHER OUTRAGES, SUPPORTED BY CONSTANTINO Received Dec. 2G, 0.10 p.m. London, Dec. 20. The Times, in an ur.censored dispat'di from Greece, reveals the unchecked continuance of the anti-Yenizelist outrages. King Constantine is supporting the campaign of terror, brutality, outrage, and pillage. THE ENTENTE'S NEW NOTE. Athens, .Dee. 23. The Entente's new Note is awaited impatiently, but the tension is slightly relaxed. Foreign families who refuged on the Allied ships have returned.
KING CONSTANTINE'S HEALTH. Rome, Dee. i"i. The Rtampa newspaper, Turin, learns that' King Constantine is worse, and must undergo a further operation. VENIZELOS' INFLUENCE GROWING. London, Dec. 28. Several additional islands have Adhered to -M. Venizelos, including Naxos, los, and Thir. RETIRE NORTHWARDS WITH ARMY London, December 24. The Daily Chronicle's Syria correspondent reports that King Constantine's brother Nicholas states that if negotiations fail, Constantine, to avoid a bombardment, will evacuate Athens and retire north with his army.
