THE EMPIRE.

"PUDD'NHEAD WILSON. The feature of the change to be presented at The Empire to-night is the Lasky adaptation of Mark Tivain's deathless story, "Pudd'nhead Wilson," with the greatest of all present-day character actors, Mr. Theodore Roberts, in the chief role. The large majority of picture-goers saw this clever artist in "Mr. Grex" at Everybody's last week, and the majority of adults are conversant with what is perhaps the most popular of all Mark Twain's capital stories. •The story has lost nothing in the hands of the producers; the costumes, staging, effects and photography are of the highest standard, and it is safe to assume that the picture will prove a most popular attraction during the two nights it will be screened at the Empire.
