i SHORTAGE OF DAIRYING LABOh. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, December 22. During the hearing of a number of appeals for exemption from military service at Hamilton to-day, ,Major Conlan, military representative, said he was certainly struck by the apparent shortage of dairy farm labor in the Waikato. He thought this knowledge should be made as general as possible, so that men from other districts might be induced to come here, as tlie wages appeared to be good. It might be possible for the Government labor representative to keep a record of men wanted and circularise agricultural associations in other parts, while an exchange of labor with other districts nrght be possible. The Board tigroid tiiat there appeared to be a distinct shortage. »
