VENIZELIST GOVERNMENT. RECOGNISED BY THE ALLIES. Received Dec. 23, 5.5 p.m, London. Dec. 22. Ir the House of Commons, Lord Robert Cecil stated that the Allies have recognised the Venizelist Government where they are established, and agreed to receiv. it-> agents. The withdrawal ot the Royalists from Thessaly did not imply that Venizelos' troops and authority would be allowed to extend to the evacuated places. The withdrawal of the Royalists from Thessaly was necessary to protect the rear of the Allied troops. COXSTANTINE'S BURLESQUE. Reuter Service, received Dec. 24, 5.5 p.m. Athens, Dec. 23. The War Minister has conveyed the Kings congratulations to the troops for their exemplary behaviour and courage on December 1, when it is claimed they saved the country from enemies who were hoping to overthrow the dynasty.
