The story opens in the Western States of America. An eccentric outlaw, who goes by the name of "Passin' Through," rides into ] a mining town and holds up the occupants of the gambling saloon. A sherili, who has been sent to the town to investigate for livail robbers, walks into the saloon and arrests "Passin' Through."
