Subject to necessary alterations, mails will close at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as under:— For Wellington and South, daily, at 0.15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices, daily, at 0.15 a.m., 12.20 and 3.55 p.m. For Auckland and North, per Rarawa, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, at 7 p.m. * SATURDAY, DECEMBER 23. For Expeditionary Forces (letters only), at 0.15 a.m. For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, West Indies, Central and South America, Mexico, United States of America and Canada, via Vancouver, also Henolulu, Japan, Fanning Island, and Fiji, at 8 p.m. Due London January 2S. Supplementary mails close Monday, December 25, i'.t 6.15 a.ii. (Money-ordcij close noon). Mails which usually close Monday will dost. Saturday, December 23, at 8 p.m., Supplementary mails will close early Monday. TUESDAY, DEC. 20 (Boxing Day). The usual despatch of mails up to S a.m. will be made.
