WESTERN ATTACK.
ENEMY BOMBARDED. 4 TOUCHING CEREMONY, London, Dee. 10. A French communique says:—The enemy bombarded the region of Louvemont and the Chanbrettes Farm. Our air spuadrons bombed the railway stations at Dun-sur-Meuse and Mon'tmedy and bivouacs at Azanncs. Paris, Dec. lfi. Aviator Captain de Bcauchamps, who took part in the raid on Essen on September 23, and on November 18 flew over. Munich, bombing the iiilway station and landing near Venice after a flight of 438 miles, has been killed in an air duel at Douainnont. A touching little ceremony took placti at headquarters, when General Joil're farewelled his command and introduced General Nivelle to the staff. General Nivelle gave a glowing appreciation of the victor of the Marne. General Joffre then returned, to Paris to take up his duties as Generalissimo.
