The Japanese Premier, replying to Mr. Lloyd Oeorge, said lie was confident that the British Government, under his leadership. would with their allies prosecute the war to a complete and lasting victory, and that nothing was more consonant to the purpose than the fortunate alliance and tile sentiments that had long been uniting the respective nations.
