Eighty thousand (Hermans have arrived eastward of Gorizia, in anticipation of a new Italian offensive. AUSTRIAN'S FORTIFYING TRIESTE FRONT. Received Dec. in, 5.5 p.m. 1 Rome. Dec. IS. The Austrian* are formidably fortifying the front towards Trieste. They have concentrated artillery beyond anything yet used in Italy.
