It is a five-ree 1 drama from the Aurora Studios, and features the most wonderful hoy nctor in the world (Matty Rouberti. The story is the strange eventful history of a New York child, the son of a theatrical manager, who is torn from his home and parents by a dismissed servant out of revenge. He is brought up in sordid surroundings, but, being a boy of spirit «nd intelligence, improves his condition, despite his environment, and starts business as a shoe-black, sleeping in a barrel by night. Pie comes into touch ivith an actor of the pld school., who befriends lim, although almost destitute himself The feature of the picture is the clever Acting of the boy, while the part of the old actor is cleverly portrayed, and the interest is maintained throughout. The "Gaumont Graphic" and oilier picture's provide a first-class programme. The theatre was tilled at both "performances nn Saturday, and patrons were delighted with the artistic, yet gripping, linture of his feature of feature films. ."The Waif" will be repeated again to-night, and for tliei last time to-morrow night.
