The remainder of the evening was taken up in an interesting paper, ''Lawyers in Literature," submitted by Mr. T. B. Crump. Tlie next meeting v.-ill be in February, the Rev. Hill-Johnson's paper then to* be on "Music." In March Mr, Buckeridge will have a paper dcifling with •'Present-day Co-npcr.ition." The last bout at billiards between the Fire Uricade and C.E.M.S. was enjoyable to all engaged. Six games were played by the seniors, three games going to each side. Three juniors fell to C.E.M.S., and one to the Fire Brigade.
