MILITARY :LRVICE APPEALS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Mastcrton, Last Night. At the sitting of the Wellington Military Scrvico Appeal Board this afternoon, exemption was granted Roy Nix, a farmer, of iPnrkvale, til) 31st March, oil the grounds of . occupation and undue hardship. In the case of Angus' McMaster, a farmer of Matntt'hero, decision was deferred sine die, exemption being granted In the meantime, provided appellant* remained in his present occupation. Frederick Dorset, farmer, of Te Whiti, was granted exemption till 31st January, and "John Moore (farmer)' till 31st March. William J. Stewart, dairy farmer, of Konini, who has two brothers on active, service, and who has charge of 70 cows, was granted exemption until 31st March. William Fitzgerald, a railway employee, was exempted; on the ground that he is over military age. Decision in the case of James Allsop, dairy farmer, of Mangatainoka, wlio claimed that he was over military n.ge, was reserved, to enable him to .produce his birth.or marriage certificate.
