A WAR CABINET. FOLLOWING THE BRITISH REDUCTION. I iParis,- Dee. 11. The Matin says that the reorganisation of the high command will be considered after the Chamber approves of the new Cabinet, which will consist solely of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Marine, Interior, Munitions, and Food. M. Briand will break up the pjd administrative bodies, conferring absolute power on the members of the Cabinet. Received Dec. 12, S.lO p.m. London, Dee. 11. The Daily Chronicle's Paris correspondent states that M. Briand's flan is concentration upon the war. The formation of a small Cabinet is well advanced. M. Briand has been busy for several days conferring with prominent prliticians and commercial and industriai personalities, endeavoring to complete negotiations at the earliest moment. It is,expected that the War Cabinet will be similar in its aims and powers to Mr. Lloyd George's, facilitating' constant communication between the Ai.jrfo-^roneh. M. Briand will probably radically re - - fmu the administrative departments and modernise the methods with a view to efficient co-operation for the prosecution of the war. Each head will have almost absolute authority, subject to the War Cabinet's direction. Several important departments, including commerce, public works, transport, and post office, are likely to be amalgamated as the Ministry of Supplies. The changes .will reduce the Government from 22 to I.' A STORMY SCENE. A SOCIALIST EJECTED FROM THE CHAMBER Received Dec. 12, 11 p.m. Paris, Dec. 12. A stormy scene occurred in the Chamber of Deputies on the debate for war credits. M. Brizori, one of the Socialist deputies, who recently met German Socialists in Switzerland; vehemently protested against the prolongation *of the var, A tumult ensued. 31. Bri/on-per-sistcd,'' despite the opposition of the vholc Chamber. The proceedings culminated by M. Brizon hurling a water bottle at the head of his nearest opponent. The sitting was suspended. Pandemonium reigned. M. Btizon was ejected.
