'■l he New York Times' Berlin correspondent obtained exclusively a .speech dilivc-red by Enver Pasha to the Turkish Parliament, indicating plans for the invasion of Egypt. Enver said the Turkish offensive on Suez had not been given up. They were preparing, on a large soa!e ; operations against Egypt. The campaign would be resumed at the right moment. The retreat in the Caucasus was due to a lack" of communications, but the southern army was preparing another efff-usive. Turkey had sent troops to assist in Galicia and the Dobrudja, as well as to Sores and Drama, retaining sufficient to defend their own territory.
