She has given military, naval, munitiouary and financial aid, has captured Tsingtao, policed the eastern seas, guarded the ocean routes from Hongkong to Vancouver and Singapore to Suez and Zanzibar The Japanese Government and private arsenals since the beginning of the war have worked incessantly providing munitions. Japan's financial assistance consisted in investing twelve million sterling in British treasury bonds and five million each in Russian ..nil Frei ch bonds.
