ENEMY .ARTILLERY ACTIVE London, Nov. 29. Sir Douglas Haig reports:—There has boon intermittent enemy shelling at Geudecourt and south of Arras. Thew has also been considerable trench mortar activity at Mauquissart and at Neuvo Chapel le. Received Nov. 30, 8.20 p.m. London, Nov. 30.
General Sir Douglas Haig reports: The enemy attempted a raid southward of Ncuve CUapelle. Bombing attacks east, ward of Carency were repulsed. We made two successful raids eastward of Ypres. London, Nov. 20. A French communique states that there was a fairly great reciprocal artillery contest south of the Somme and in the sectors of Biaches and Pressoir. RETURN OF DEPORTEES London, Nov. 20. Berlin messages state that Germany is gradually sending the Lille deportees back in accordance with promises. It is anticipated that all who wish to return will bo repatriated by Christmas. AN ATTACK REPULSED.
Receive.! Nov. 30, 8.50 p.m. Paris, Nov. 30. A communique states: An attack on one of our posts at Filhvorte was repulsed There has been an intermittent cannonade elsewhere, particularly in the Douaumont-Vaux sector.
