A meeting of representatives of cheese factories was held ut llawera yesterday to consider the question of ottering the cheese tc the Imperial Government. It was originally intended to confine the meeting to representatives oi factories that 'had not sold their whole output, but the meeting was open to all cheese factories. Air. A. Morton (chairman of the National' Dairy Association) presided over an attendance of over 00 representatives. At the outset the Chairman stated that the question of allowing the Press to be present would 1 need consideration. He pointed out that a good deal of the information that would be put before the meeting would be of a confidential nature.
