death from BURNS, • By .Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Nov. 81. Lily Williams, a married woman, died in hospital from burns caused by a bedroom curtain catching fire. A LAD DROWNED. Greymouth, Last Night. Ivan Cox, son of Captain Cox, Harbormaster, aged 14, was drowned wliild bathing at Cobden this evening. It ap- ■'. . s that the lad could swim, but liecame exhausted, and sank before help arrived. The body was recovered aa hour after the accident.
