VICTORIA LEAGUE. Tue annual meeting of the New Plymouth branch of the Victoria League will be held at the Kawaroa Park Bungalow on Thursday afternoon, and all friends of the League are invited to be present. Afternoon tea will be served, and a charge of (id. will be made. The proceeds will be devoted to the League's Ambulance Fund. HALF PROCEEDS OF DEBATE. The sum of ISs fid, half proceeds of the "door'' taken in connection with the debate lield in the Foresters' Hall on Wcdnesdu}' evening, has been handed to the Mayoress (Mrs. A. C. Burgess) by Mr. J. G. Ellis, who asked that the sum be devoted to patriotic purposes. The donation was accepted with thanks.
