DISTRICT NEWS.
' TATARAIMAKA. (From a. Correspondent), It 1® a long time since a Bishop of Auckland has preached in St. Peter's Church, Tataraimaka. We are therefore hcr.rtily glad Dr. Averill is to preach at our church on Wednesday evening tlii) 22nd inst., when his presence amongst us will be very deeply appreciated. We confidently expect to have the church well filled and would remind the settiers to get their cows in for milking a little earlier than usual. We' greatly regret that Mr. W. Honeyfield, one of the churchwardens, is seriously ill in town, and are sorry tliat he will on that account not be able to be present at the service.
