Germany lias acknowledged the United States' protest against tlie deportation of Belgians, but has deferred the reply. Jews in the United States are raising a fund of sixty million sterling for loans to Jews in belligerent countries for rehabilitation after the war. A Berlin wireless message says that the Westfalische Zeitung describes President Wilson as England's pirate business manager beyond the ocean.
