CORRESPONDENCE.
'/HE KAISER AS ANTI-CHRIST. To the Editor. Sir,—l regret that the debate was not continued between John Kelland and Jolm Ellis. Mr. Ellis tried to shoiv that 15 is the Kabhalistie number for the Unbounded Abfolute, the I AM. The Kabbalist is well aware tlmt the I AM has declared hi'.' duality as follows: "I-a:u the First and Last, I am the Quickene". The Mover, The Creator. The Destroyer, lam the Power Seen and Unseen." Mr. Kelland is .quite right in stating that 10 is the Kabbalistie number of the AH One, whose name is written a 9 a circle with centre stroke. We are fast recovering these lost science?, so much that even "he who runs may rend." 'J.Vj Hebrew "Yahva" signifies God of Force and Might as typified in the Vengeful God of the Old Testament. But Jesus Christ gave to the world the most sublime conception of the Creator, as the God of Love, Mercy, Justice, and Wisdom, the All "Wise and All Pure. Wc worship the God of Love. Kaiser, the Antichrist, worships the God of Hate, whose days are numbered, 35 universal righteousness will soon be triumphant.— I am, etc., "'PANTHEIST."
THE WAIWAKAIHO BRIDGE. To the Editor. Sir, —The inventions and science o! modern times are marvellous, but if tin late experiment tried by the Taranaki County Council succeeded it would knock the wind clean out of anything the Germans have invented -so far. The Council tried to anchor a concrete bridge to the clouds, but, like a lot of good schemes of mice and men, it failed. After hanging on by the skin of its teeth for months like all weak animals without legs, it got tired, and decided to lay down in the soft bed of the Waiwaka'ho River for a long, peaceful rest. I am told on good authority that for months past a space of two to three feet existed between the bottom of the destroyed pier and the bed of the river, and also that there was no attempt made t; repair the breach. My own opinion !.• that the Council personally ought to he made to pay for the damage and als6 that- they ought in a body to retire from local politics. Any body of sane men. guilty of such unpardonable recklessness, in their position as trustees for the ratepayer, have no other honorable course" open to them. Of course, we know that they are duty bound tc the element, the weather, and a.host of other causes, but there is no excuse whatevej for their action; but the ratepayers mu?t foot the bill, and what do they care?-—I am, etc., JOHN DIGG/INS. Lepperton. '
