IB A remarkable renewal of the enemy activity on the Trentino front is regarded . as foreshadowing another formrlable Austrc-Hungarian offensive in the hope of hi caking into the Venetian plains and relieving the pressure on the Cn;so Heavy reinforcements of artillery and infantry have, for a fortnight, been concentrating in the Trentino. under tlio personal supervision of General von Hoetzendorft', who, despite his bitter experience in May, still- considers the Trentino the most favorable po'iit for an invasion of Italy.
