23rd REINFORCEMENTS, v Wellington, Yesterday The national shortage for the 23rd Reinforcements is 784, and for the 24tiw 585. It is necessary for 1369 to be ballotted for this week in the first division. Auckland, Nelscn, and Wanganui are the only three districts where the ballot is not required yet. Hawke's Bay escapes the' ballot for "the 23rds, and Taranaki for the 24ths.
