SHIP-BUILDING.

NEUTRALS VERY ACTIVE. Ajstralian-N.Z. Cable Association. Received Nov. 8, 10 p.m. London, Nov. 0. Lloyds' register, in its annual roport, shows that 020 vessels, of 2,282,703 tons are now building—the largest amount of shipping ever recorded, chiefly duo to the activities of neutrals, the British output being far below normal. At the end of June the registered vessels numbered 10,032, of a tonnage of 23,190,138. During the year 203 new vessels of 700,209 tons were registered, whereof u2J per cent, belonged to the British.
