A STIFF FINE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. .Wellington, Yesterday, Judgment was given by Mr. L. G. Reid, S.M., this afternoon in the ease in which Scoullar and Co., of Wellington, were charged with wilfully breaking a contract to supply mattresses and pillows to the Defence Department by delivering goods not in accordance with the terms of the contract. Defendants were fined £SO and costs. Leave to appeal was granted.
