PRISONERS SENTENCED!, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, October SO. In the Supreme Court to-day prisoners were sentenced as follow: Elsie Heann, opening postal packets, ordered to come up foi sentence when called on; Walter William Gabbitt, attempted rape, two years' imprisonment; Clement Borrows, tlieft of motor-cycle, to come up for sentence when called on, provided he enlists; Alexander Charles Mitchell, tlieft from postal packets, committed to the charge of the Salvation Army Prison Brigade for eighteen months; Jose Gunderson, who had been convicted of forgery of accountable receipts, was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, on condition that he enlisted. Prisoner also promised to assign certain will moneys to the Public Trustee in repayment of defalcations.
