WOOL MAUivET. \Vool.—There was a- miscellaneous selection of merinos and prices were fully maintained; There was a large offering of crossbreds, mostly slipes, and prices were slightly harder, rreasy crossbred making extreme rates The Bradford market is stron.? with a hardening tendency. '64's, '55V;d; super 80's, 54y s d>; eommon Ws, 53'-:,d: 56's, Wd; 50's, 33d; 46's, 28»/ 2 dj 40's. 27% d. At the sheepskin sales, 2800 bundles were offered, and practically all wore told. Competition was somewhat irregular. Compared with September sales, combing merinos advanced Vsd, clothing %d, combing crossbreds were unchanged, clothing %d dearer, and a few short clothing advanced lMid. Lambs were unchanged. v GRAIN, Wheat.—Parcels are firm; c.ugo is not offering. iFlour is in strong demand; offerings are small. Australian patent 55s 6d. Oats.-iStvong. La 'Plata, ex quay, 86s 6d. Peas and beans very firm, New Zca'.ands are not offering. DAIRY PRODUCE. Butter.—Very firm. Supplies of all sorts are short. Danish is about 210s. N'ew Zealand is practically cleaved, but Is nominally 200s; Canadian, Wis; Argentine, 194s to ma?. Cheese.—Firm, tending to go higher. Canadian, 112s to 115s; New Zealand, 112s. Sugar is unchanged. I METALS. Copper.—On spot, £124 ."><; three I months, £119; electrolytic, £144. .Lead—On spot, £3O 10s; three months', £29 10s. Spelter. On spot, £54; three months, £sl. Tin.—Spot, £lB2 2s Od; three months, £lB3 !2s fid. Silver, 32% d per oz. HOME MARKETS. Received Oct. 29, 5,5 p.m. . London, Oct. 28. AVheat is firm. South American mutton SJd to BJd, and 9d to 9£d; Australian and New Zealand unchanged. Rabbits are unchanged. Blues are in good demand, but others are slow. Possibly the prices are easier owing to the arrival of five steamers. Hemp—October-December, £sl 10s Rubber—Para, 3s 6d, plantation 2s !>%d; smoked 2s 5%d. Copra.—Oetober-Deoember, £34 10s. At the wool sales, there was a small offering. Crossbreds are hardening. There was a miscellaneous selection of tr.crnos and good scoured is slightly dearer.
