Arthur Worthington, who is alleged to be identical with the Samuel Crawfat d who organised the Temple of Culture in New Zealand about 1902. FIRE IN QUEBEC HOSPITAL, Ottawa, Oct. 27. As the result of a fire in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Farnham, Quebec, five children are dead and fifteen missing. Scores of children leaped from the win dows on to the pavement. TROUBLE AT NEW HEBRIDES. ■"-■ ~ Sydney, Oct. 28. The steamer Induna reports native unrest at Mallicollo. There is tribal lighting and frequent raids on the coast villages. Six mission natives have been massacred and the lives of whites are threatened. Many are living on vessels for fear of attack.
