CLEARING THE COUNTRY. SMUTS' TROOPS REORGANISING London, October 28. The War Office states that the bulk of the Germans in the vicinity of the F.ufigi River, with a strong detachment from the Mahenge area, which were survivors of the force dislodged at Tabora, are endeavouring to reach our line? by numerous bush tracks from the Rualia River. Small British co'nmns are clearing the country north and south, of the Rufigi delta. The reorganisation of General Smuts' troops, and the repait of the general railway are proceeding.
