SALVATION -ARMY EMIGRATION Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. London, Oct. 25. General Booth is appealing for £200,000, for the migration after the war of 5000 women, including war widows, and 10,000 children, to the overseas Dominions. The Salvation Army oveiseas wilt svutch over the emigrants for four years, EQUALITY 01? WAGES FOR WOMEN. New York, Oct. 25. Mr. Ford announces that the minimum wages of all women employed in his factories will be Ave dollars'a day, the same as those of men. It is the first time a large American employer has given women a wage on an equality with I men. I Mr. Ford declares that he was converted to the principle after a conference with Mr. Wilson. He believes it will help Mr. Wilson with women voters.
