RANGERS' RBPOiRTS. Mr. E. Tonne reported on 37 Crown lands holdings, area 10,950 acres; improvements required, £9,216; effected, £2i5,051; one defaulter for residence. Also on is National Endowment holdings of an area of 65C4 acres; improvements required, £7743; effected, £lB,119; no defaulters.

'Mr. E. A. Meredith reported on 2B Crown holdings, area 15,719 acres, improvements required £5046, effected £85160, 7 defaulters for improvements, 1 defaulter for improvements and residence; also on 3 National Endowment holdings, area 1680 acres, improvements required £BB3, offocted £1137, no defaulters. In the case of an Education Reserve of 895 acres, the improvements required ( £37) were in default.

CONCESSIONS. The lessee of Section 10, Block I, Rangi, was granted an extension of twelve months in which to make implements. The following were granted 12 months exemption from residence:—Lessee of Section fl, Block IV, Piopiotea West; lessee of Section fl, Block V, fiuiioa; lessee of Section 9, Block XIII, Waro; lessee of Section 23, Block XVI, Huiroa; An application by George Tyrer, selector of Section I, Block 111, Mnpara, for a reduction of rent, was refused. ■ JENERAL. It was resolved to open Section 8, Block VII, Omona S.D., <iso acres, for re-offering under the Discharged Soldiers' Settlement Act, at a capital value of 30s .per acre. The application of George Waterson, next-of-kin of the late H. A. Waterson, to surrender Section 5, Block V, Pouatu, was granted. The Whangamomona County Council's proposals for the expenditure of £35 4s, accrued thirds, were approved. It was resolved to offer Sections 1094 and 1v590, New Plymouth, area 2r. 2p, (together) for leasing at auction, at an upset rental of £l. It was decided to forfeit the lease of Section 5, Block VIII, Omona. It was decided to offer Section 1, Block 11, Waro, Sls acres, under renewable lease, at a capital value of 15s per acre. It was resolved to offer Sections 3, Block XVI, Waro, and 4 and a, Block IV, Pouatu, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, at capital values of 30s, 2los, and 30s per acre respectively. Mr. E. A. Meredith, of Stratford, was appointed arbitrator for the Crown in the re-valuation of the small grazing run lease of Run 1, Block XIV, Opaku. John Monk, lessee of Section 3, Block 111, Totoro, was granted exemption, from residgnce. The Board in committee dealt sith five applications for exemption from rent from selectors absent on active service, and recommended for approval one application for rental postponement for a period. The Board also dealt with various selectors in arrear with rental payments.
