Mrs. Burke won the cushion presented by Mrs. H. Hall and Roy Frewin won the catamaran presented by Mrs. Winfield. Or. Monday, the golfers had a very successful day's play. The modal competition was won 'by fat O'Cnrroll with a net score of 75, F. Brown winning the second prize with 80. In the afternoon, Geo. Gudgeon won the bogey match finishing, all square, P. O'Cari'oll winning second prize with 3 down. In the ladies' competitions Mrs. O'Carroll and Miss Johnston, tied for first prize in the medal match, and Mrs. Thomson won the bogey match with a score of 2 up. • Mrs. Thomson also won the driving, but generously gave' the priz.; to the runner-up, Mrs. Harrison. Approaching and putting, Mcsdamcs F. Brown, Surrey, and Miss C. Hamerton tied, and in the play-off Miss Hamerton was successful.
