ANGLO-FRENCH CONFERENCE. Australian-N.Z, Cable Association. Paris, October 22. A conference at Boulogne on Friday for the interchange of.views 011 the military and polieital situation was attended by JIM. Briand, Ribot, Bourgeois, Reques. J.oeaze, Thomas and General Jollrc, also Mr. Asquith, Viscount Grey of Falladon, Messrs. Balfour and Lloyd George, and Generals Robertson and Haig. Diplomatic, naval and military advisers were also present.

Dr. Bull, an English dentist, aged (13, who lias long been resident in Brussels, was court-martialled on a charge of providing money to help Allied soldiers to escape from Belgium. He has been sentenced to six years' imprisonment.
