GAZETTE NOTICES
■PRICE OF BUTTER FIXED By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A Gazette notice contains an Order-in-Council under the War Regulations Act detailing the certificates required in respect to goods imported from Norway, Sweden. Denmark, Holland and Switzerland. Suspected goods may be detained by the Collector of Customs.
The order also provides that any army supply contractor or employee who wilfully commits a breach of his contract of service shall he guilty of an offence against the War Regulations Act. The Oazette also fixes the prices whereat butter mav he sold as follows ■« Maximum wholesale 14!)s 4d per cwt. The Gazette also prohibits the export of butter and cheese from the Dominion without tile consent of the Minister of Customs. These orders operate from to-uiorrow.
