THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN. _ News has been received that frivats F. L. Bishop, of TJruti, was wounded in the head and in the right thigh, on.Sapternber 1 5 . «»«} 'inskfien admitted to hospital. Private Bishop is an old Taranaki boy, and left with the 9th Reinforcements. A Sydney cablegram states that Private Hodges, who has been killed in France, was formerly an assistant-mas-ter nt Wanganui College. Cable advice has bene received from the High Commissioner, London, that Mr. A. F. Nicoll, the wellknown Naw Zealand artist, has been wounded in France. Mr. Nicoll is a brother of Mr. W. P. Nicoll, of New Plymouth. Mr. Chas. Potts of the Imperial Hotel, has received cable advice thas his son C. W. Potts, who left with the Bth Reinforcements, was killed in action on September 17th. Walter Potts, who was 37 years of age, was wel) known la New' Plymouth, having resided here for several years some time ago, when he was a prominent member of the Star Football Club. Ho enlisted from the Waikato, where he was engaged in field engineering. Mr. A. R. Milne has revived cable advice that his soil, -A. K. Milne, has been wounded by shell shock on September 21st. Alec. Miln«, who }eft with the 7th Reinforcement*, is 20 years of age, and is well known in New Plymouth. Where he was prominent in scout circles, heing a scoutmaster. Mr. Milne has also received advice that his son, Claude, who left with the iCths. has reached England.
