BULGARIANS FORCED TO RETREAT.
ANGLO-FRENCH CAPTURES. Reuter Service. , Received October 5, 12.45 a.m. London, October 4. A French official message from Salonika states that in consequence of the Serbian victories in the Kajmacralun region the Bulgarians abandoned their positions, at Starkovgreb and on the River Brod. They appear to be retreating northwards. The Serbians have occupied Sovio, and the French have .occupied Petorac and Vrbenie. The British, on the right, captured Janikosi, cast of the Struma. ITALIANS ASSIST. Received Oct. 4, 8 p.m. Athens, Oct. 3; The Italians liave occupied Santiguaranta, Deivino, and Algyrocastro, BULGARIAN ADMISSIONS. London, Oct. 3. A Bulgarian communique states; Between Rustchuk and Turtukai the enemy's boats conveyed several battalions to our bank of the Danube. Measures have been ta'ken to drive them off. In consequence of a violent bombardment of Kajmacklan and Hill 2308 our troops were ordered to withdraw to the main positions in the Moglintza Valley for the purpose of avoiding loss. i " -— )
