Nevertheless, she fouglit with desperate and dogged courage, (lie majority being killed or wounded in four days' desper-ate-lighting. They were completely encircled, 'hit the remnant rallied "when the reserves arrived, and fought finely, though their efforts were unavailing in touuter-attacking.
