FARM AND DAIRY.
' OMATA CO-OP. DAIRY COMPANY. The following is the annual report that is to be presented to shareholders at the annual meeting of the Omata Co-op. Dairy Company this afternoon, at the Town Hall:—Your directors are pleased to be able to report a very satisfactory year's working, as appears by the balance sheet and statement, but the directors regret that owing to the, complete destruction of the company's' books and papers in the late disastrous fire in New Plymouth, they cannot "ice to shareholders all the details of the working of the company usually recorded in the balance sheet. The purchase of the Oakura creamery, and the additional supply thus secured materially increased t the output of butter. The total payment for milk and cream during tinyear was Is 4Jd per lb butter-fat, whieli is a great advance on the highest price ei'cr paid before by this company, and your directors anticipate that the coming seasen will be equally advantageous to suppliers, and possibly still show a further advance in the price paid for biitter-fat. You will require to elect two directors in place of Messrs. Kaill and McKee, who retire by rotation, and being eligible olt'cr themselves for re-election. You will require to elect an auditor, and fix his remuneration.
