NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB.

A St. Andrew's Cross match will lie played .on the New 'Plymouth Golf Club's' links this afternoon.

The Club intend Holding an all-day patriotic tournament on Thursday, September 28, the proceeds of which are to provide tobacco for the Taranaßt soldier boys at the front. It is to be hoped that record entries will be received, as this day the links will bo open to players from any clubs. Full particulars can be obtained from the club secretary, Miss A. L. Brewster, or from

lion, secretaries of the various clubs, to whom notices of the match have been sent.
