ENTERTAINMENTS.
THE PINK DANDIES. TO-NIGHT THE LAST NIGHT. Joy reigned supreme in the Good Templar Hall last evening, when the Pink Dandies gave the third entertainment of their present season before an overwhelming house. Though the weather conditions were the reverse of perfect, the large audience was not perturbed by them. What if it did blow, rain, hail or snow? The people were there to hear bright and tuneful music, laugh at irresistibly funny whimsicalities, to enjoy a thoroughly wholesome entertainment that was sufficient to attract anyone from his oilier fireside. And the programme did —while the performers seemed to enjoy their work every bit as much as the audience appreciated it. There is no need to individualise any item on last night's sterling programme; from ;hc first chorus to the concluding item it sparkled, and though the official "register" was nearly doubled in length owing to encores, it seemed all too short! The members of this clever and popular combination are, all of them, artists in their own particular lines, and last night they enhanced their reputation.
To-night the Dandies conclude their season, when a special programme, comprising the cream of their extensive repertoire, will be submitted, and a packed auditorium should bid these dlever and versatile entertainers ,"au r evoir."
