DOMINION NEWS.

MISSING MOTOR LAUNCH,

By Vciegraph.—Press Association, Auckland. Yesterday.

Grace fears are entertained for the safety of a young married man, named S. E.' Smith, who left for Tuki Tuki in a motor launch on Tuesday last and has not been heard of-since. Tuki Tuki is situated near Cabbage Bay, just inside the gulf. Under the favorable conditions which obtained when the launch left Whang.ipoua at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, it should have reached its destination six hours later. Smith had no dinghy attached to the motor boat, and it is thought that the engine has broken down and that the vessel has drifted to sea.
