GREAT FIRE IN JAPAN.
1800 BUILDINGS DESTROYED. Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. . Brisbane, September 12. The steamer St. Albans brought news of a fire at Hakodate, Japan, on August 2. The fire devastated eight streets. destroying 1800 buildings.
