CHARGE OF INSTIGATING A STRUCK. Wellington, Last Night. The Inspector of Awards proceeded to-day against Edward Kennedy, secretary of the Woollen Mill? Employees' Union, to recover £2OO penalty for instigating a strike at the Petone mills, the workers at which were bound by the Arbitration Court award. The case was commenced on July 27th, but was adjourned pending consideration of a. non-suit point, which was over-ruled. After defendant had given evidence, during which he was rebuked by the Magistrate, for his unsatisfactory answers, judgment was reserved.
