CANAL SAFE. Yi'T'NG TURKS' TYRANT. Cairo, August 25, General Murray, interviewed, said the Turkish attacks on the canal had ended. Enemy aeroplanes were attempting to harass our. airmen, but are much inferior to the British, The Grand Bey of Mecca has issued a proclamation .in the name of Islam denouncing the Young Turks' irreligion, cruelty, and tyranny in shelling Koba, setting fire to the Holy Carpet, and killing the faithful at prayer. The prjclamation adds: Our independence is complete, and our aim is the preservation of Islam:
