ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SUICIDE AT DUNEDIX. By Telegraph.—Press Association. .Dunedin, August 23. Patrick Steele, employed as manager for Booth and Mac Donald, implement makers, for the last twelve months, was found dead this morning, He had not been at the office since Saturday, when he appeared to be in his usual health. At 8.40 this morning an employee found deceased lying on his hack on the floor, with the lift on his neck. A pannikin was found near the body containing some liquid, and a memo in pencil, with the words:—"All lofte to mine and ours 01: the square." Deceased was aged 40 and \jras married. TROOPER'S SUDDEN DEATH. Wellinpton, August 23. Trooper C. Fisher, who went awnj with the main body, and was invalided home, died suddenly this morning from heart failure, aged 23. He was at work as usual until last night. Deceased's parents reside at Feilding.
